In international competition, Rebecca Soni has won fifteen medals—9 golds, 6 silvers ranging over the Olympics, the World, the Universiade and Pan Pacific Championships. In her first Olympics in 2008, Rebecca won 2 silvers and 1 gold medal. In her 200 meter breaststroke race, she beat Aussie Leise Jones who was the favorite. She also set the world record.

Her accolades include Swimming World’s World Swimmer of the Year and the American Swimmer of the Year award in 2009 and 2010.

In 2010 Rebecca Soni teamed up with United Nations Foundation, Girl Up which focuses on improving the lives of girls by educating, protecting and empowering. She also does charity work for Hemby Children’s Hospital.  Rebecca’s sponsors include Arena, USA Swimming, Yoga Works and Pro Tips 4 You and is available for autograph signings, public appearances and sports clinics.
