Peter Vidmar was an Olympic gymnast who won gold medals in the men’s all around team and the pommel horse and a silver medal in the men’s all around individual at the 1984 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles. Peter was inducted into the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame and was one of three athletes who was inducted twice.

BIO: Peter Vidmar was an Olympic gymnast who won gold medals in the men’s all around team and the pommel horse and a silver medal in the men’s all around individual at the 1984 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles. Peter was inducted into the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame and was one of three athletes who was inducted twice. He is also the highest scoring American gymnast in Olympic history.

Since his Olympic days, Peter Vidmar has been an anchor for CBS and ESPN. Peter also is a motivational speaker as well as the Co-Chairman of the U.S. Olympic Committee Summer Sports Summit. In 2008, Peter was named chairman of the U.S. Gymnastics Board of Directors.

Peter Vidmar has served on the President’s Council on Physical Fitness & Sports. He was appointed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to represent the state of California as Vice Chair of the California Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness & Sports. Peter is available for public speaking, autograph signings and corporate hospitality.
