BIO: Karl Malone, aka “The Mailman”, is a retired NBA player for the Utah Jazz and the Los Angeles Lakers. He has been awarded the NBA’s MVP award twice and is second behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in most points scored with 36,928.

He spent most of his basketball career (18 seasons) with the Utah Jazz and becoming a power duo with teammate John Stockton. His last season before retirement was with the Los Angeles Lakers.

In 2006, Karl Malone’s jersey was retired and he was also honored with a bronze statue outside the EnergySoultions Arena—right next to his teammate John Stockton. The city also renamed part of 100 South in Salt Lake City in Karl’s honor and the intersection is now Stockton and Malone.  Karl is available for speaking engagements, autograph signings and person appearances.

Karl was named the director of basketball promotions and assistant strength and conditioning coach at his alma mater, Louisiana Tech University. Karl Malone operates Karl Malone Toyota in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Salt Lake City, Utah.
