As the fifth pick in the 2003 NBA Draft he went to the Miami Heat and here, he was named to the All-Rookie team and the All-Star team the next season and in his third season Dwyane Wade led the Heat to their first NBA Championship in the history of the franchise. He was named NBA MVP and helped the US Basketball team claim victory at the 2008 Olympics and in his 2008-2009 season, he led the league in scoring.

Dwyane was named NBA All-Star seven times, two time All-NBA First Team, three time All Second team, and three time All-Defensive Second Team. Dwyane is very active in his community and in helping children in need. His foundation, Wade’s World Foundation, provides support to community-based organizations to promote education, health and social skills for children in at-risk situations. He is a devout Christian and chose his number-3-because it represents the Holy Trinity. Dwyane has endorsement deals with Gatorade, Lincoln, Sean John, Staples, T-Mobile and Topps. In 2010 he made his shoe line debut with the Jordan Brand joining Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul who also have their own signature shoe for the Jordan brand.
