It is clear who wins, who loses, and the spotlight is constantly on the individual. The hottest names at the top of both the WTA and ATP tours have taken advantage of their fame to create hefty endorsement portfolios. As the tennis world gathers in Indian Wells for the BNP Paribas Open, the California hard courts will be transformed into walking advertisements for some of the world’s top brands. You too can Hire an athlete to endorse your brand.

The ladies at the top of the women’s game are glamorous fashion lovers who want to look good as they win. Over the past five years, tennis stars like Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova have seized creative control from their clothing sponsor Nike and now design their own lines for the brand. Maria Sharapova also designs her own collection of shoes and accessories for Nike subsidiary Cole Haan. Venus Williams created her own clothing company, eleVen by Venus Williams, to showcase her own on-court designs. Current world No.1 Victoria Azarenka, Maria Sharapova, Serena Williams, and other Nike-sponsored women are not the only fashionable women on the courts at Indian Wells. Caroline Wozniacki is sponsored by adidas and exclusively wears their high-end Stella McCartney for adidas collection. Consider hiring a tennis player to endorse your product.

In addition to clothing deals, the women at the top of the tennis game take great pride in their skin. Danish sensation, and girlfriend of golf’s Rory McIlroy, Caroline Wozniacki is the face of Swedish skincare line Oriflame. Serena Williams worked with fellow super stars Mia Hamm and Amanda Beard, among others, to create Mission Athletecare—- a skincare line designed to care for athletes’ skin. Just yesterday, it was announced that NBA Superstar Dwight Howard is a new face of the brand. Swiss Legend Roger Federer also has a skin care deal in his portfolio as an ambassador for Gillette razors and shaving products.

The men of the tennis world also rake in their fare share of endorsement deals, with most top players endorsing a luxury watch and car company. Roger Federer has a multi-year deal with Swiss watch maker Rolex, Novak Djokovic endorses Audemars Piguet, and Rafael Nadal caused a stir when he wore a $525,000 Richard Mille watch to play at the French Open. At the end of a long practice, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic drive away in their Mercedes Benz, while Nadal takes the more practical route in a Kia.

No matter what your company sells, having a high-profile athlete endorsement will bring your brand increased recognition. Take advantage of the TV coverage during tournaments like Indian Wells, and hire an athlete to endorse your product or company. To hire a tennis player like Maria Sharapova, fill out our hire a celebrity form.

Learn more about Lolo Jones and how to activate a Summer Olympics Sponsorship to build your brand.

After winning the U.S. Open Indoor 50-meter hurdles championship, U.S. Hurdler Lolo Jones is officially back.

Once one of the best hurdlers in the world, Jones suffered a devastating injury last fall that kept her out of competition for months. The 29-year-old Hurdler had surgery performed last August to fix a tethered spinal cord.

In order to make a successful comeback, Lolo Jones had to force herself to attend multiple workouts a day and overcome excruciating pain. After her victory, Lolo Jones exclaimed with a smile, “It was all worth it.”

At Madison Square Garden, Jones beat a deep 50-meter hurdle field to take the title. She held off Britain’s Tiffany Porter and won the race with a time of 6.78 seconds. The event was Jones’ first since having surgery.

After the race, Jones said, “I was such a mental mess the night before. Just thinking, ‘Am I healed from surgery? Am I fit? Am I in shape?’ Just to have this one under my belt and with such a tough field – it’s just a sigh of relief that all that hard work paid off.”

Looking forward to London and the 2012 Olympics, Lolo Jones is one of America’s best hopes to medal. Adding to Jones’ comeback theme is the fact that she was the heavy favorite in the 100-meter hurdles in 2008, but tripped on a hurdle and did not medal. The American Hurdler is sure to be looking for a shot at redemption in London for multiple reasons.

As athletes like Jones begin to ramp up their training in preparation for the London Olympics, now is the time to for companies to think about hiring an athlete for a Summer Olympics Sponsorship. The Olympics are such a global event, that a company would be wise to activate a Summer Olympics Sponsorship to display its brand or product offerings to millions of potential customers. In particular, a company would be wise to activate a Summer Olympics Sponsorship with Hurdler Lolo Jones for the media attention she is sure to command and her story of perseverance and determination.

To Hire Hurdler Lolo Jones for an endorsement or event appearance, or to receive more information regarding how to activate a Summer Olympics Sponsorship to build your brand, visit www.goldmedalgreats.com and fill out our Celebrity Agent form.

Olympic champion Amanda Beard spoke to women athletes during Binghamton University’s annual Celebrating Women’s Athletics Luncheon about the difficult “rollercoaster of a journey” that a life in athletics brings. Hire an Olympic gold medalist like Amanda Beard to speak at your next event.

While many fans look to an athlete’s one glory moment atop a podium and envy the fame and recognition that goes along with it, for most Olympians, even seven-time Olympic medalist Amanda Beard, the reality is much different. In baseball, athletes can make up for a missed opportunity the next day, in football, the next Sunday, but Olympic athletes like Lolo Jones must wait four agonizingly long years before their next shot at the gold. During those interim periods mostly removed from the spotlight, athletes must face their deepest doubts, weaknesses, and motivate themselves to push forward. Hire an Olympic gold medalist to share their story at your next event.

As the second-youngest Olympic champion in American swimming history at the 1996 Atlanta Games, Amanda Beard burst onto the scene as a teddy bear-clutching 14-year-old. Though she won a bronze medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and had a successful college career at the University of Arizona, it took until 8 years until the 2004 Athens Olympic games for Amanda Beard to claim her second gold medal. In this interim period, Amanda Beard became a media darling, appearing in FHM, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, and Playboy, but the media attention and accompanying criticism temporarily diminished her passion for swimming.

With the 2012 London Olympic Games quickly approaching, the spotlight intensifies on some of America’s most beloved athletic figures. After living for four years with relative anonymity for many Olympic athletes, the frenzy and hype overshadow the sacrifices and downplay their challenges. By speaking to collegiate athletes, Amanda Beard said she wanted to “bring reality to athletics” for it is “not all super easy.” Though the experienced Olympic Champion makes the breast stroke look “super easy,” Beard’s message of how to overcome obstacles, rediscover lost passion, and maintain the support of loved ones is a prudent one for all to heed.

If you’re an agency, brand or company looking to hire an Olympic gold medalist for your event, like Amanda Beard, fill out our hire a celebrity form.

The Nastia Liukin Cup is the culminating event of a series of qualifying invitational meets known as the Nastia Liukin Series. The competition provides an amazing opportunity for the country’s top Junior Olympic gymnasts to compete on a large stage and meet the reigning Olympic champion herself. A portion of proceeds from the Nastia Liukin Cup will be given to the Nastia Liukin Fund to help finance the dreams of young gymnasts.

New York City’s sports landmark, Madison Square Garden, recently completed the first phase of renovations intended to make the legendary arena more enjoyable for fans. The expanded concourses, fit with HD televisions, will make sure that fans do not miss a single flip, split or routine. The Nastia Liukin Cup affords young gymnasts an unforgettable experience to compete on the same equipment that will be used by the world’s elite at the AT&T American Cup the following day.

Nastia Liukin expressed her excitement for the competition’s move to Manhattan by saying:
“To compete in a legendary arena like Madison Square Garden is an honor and something only a small percentage of athletes have the chance to do. Knowing that some of the greatest and best-known gymnasts have competed in the same place makes it very special.”

The March 2 event is one of the many exciting events in the Olympic all-around champion and five-time medalist’s schedule as she intensifies training in preparation to qualify for the 2012 London Olympic Games. Catch the Olympic spirit and hire Olympic gold medalist Nastia Liukin for your next event or endorsement opportunity.

As members of the USA Men’s and Women’s Waterpolo team, these athletes partake in some of the most strenuous and exhausting practices and competitions out there. During the 36 minutes of game time, these players must not only keep themselves afloat without being able to touch the pool floor or sides, but they must also be able to defend their goal, keep their opponents away from the ball and launch their bodies out of the water to score. This type of stamina and exertion requires adequate refueling when on dry land, and the USA Waterpolo team has put their trust in Nestle Nesquik milk to do the job.

This flavored recovery drink offers a combination of carbohydrates, protein and fluid for these athletes to replenish and recover after a difficult training session or game. Nestle Nesquik is offered in a variety of flavors and can quickly be consumed, making this product quite appealing for these top athletes.

As the Men’s and Women’s USA Waterpolo teams continue to prepare for the upcoming 2012 Olympic Games in London, Nestle Nesquik has become a loyal devotee to the team, as well as the game, and will be making appearances and supplying the team in all of their upcoming events leading up to the Games.

With this new partnership, Nestle Nesquik will now be able to promote their product, which has continued to be a household favorite for almost 50 years, and hopefully be able to gain more of an upper-hand in the sports arena competing with other big-name flavored recovery drinks such as Muscle Milk and Gatorade. Joining up with such a promising team will be a valuable collaboration for Nestle Nesquik.

Consider teaming up with the USA Waterpolo, or any other Olympians for team and/or individual athlete endorsements to help promote your company or product. To hire these athletes for your next team endorsement, visit www.celebexperts.com or fill out our hire a team form.

In a six-hour match against Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal had to take the loss at the Australian Open, with either player refusing to be the one to walk away without hardware. Some stated that it was a down-right shame that someone had to lose the match, the longest Grand Slam match in history, one that featured each player at their best, lunging for shots and aiming with pinpoint accuracy on shot after shot. In a tennis world dominated by Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic, they’ve won every major event of the past seven years, the match showed what incredible parity existed among the top elite with Nadal exposed after his 7-5, 4-6, 2-6, 7-6 (7-5), 5-7 defeat to Djokovic. The Tennis Stars have come to dominate the landscape with the American players and Andy Murray somehow left behind fighting for second-tier status.

Much of the media attention on Rafael Nadal has not focused on his highlights in the match or resolution and absolute determination not to lose, but rather on his recent string of defeats and what is surely a bruised ego and morale heading into 2012’s tennis events. It’s easy to see why Nadal must feel terrible after the defeat: he’s lost three straight Grand Slam finals and has lost in seven straight finals matches against a seemingly invincible Djokovic, surely his nemesis after overtaking Nadal as No. 1 as well as picking up Wimbledon and U.S. Open titles against Nadal. And what a way to lose: the match clocking in at 5:53 easily eclipsing the previous record of Tennis Stars Wilander’s victory over Lendel at the ’88 U.S. Open by 59 minutes. Nadal is no stranger to prevailing in long matches, in ’08 he bested Roger Federer in a 4 and a half hour match to win the Wimbledon title 6-4, 6-4, 6-7 (5), 6-7. After the Australian Open many tennis stars do personal appearances, tennis clinics and speaking engagements around the world. This would be a prime time to hire one of these outstanding athletes!

While the U.S. Women’s Soccer team is well on their way to qualifying for the 2012 London Olympics, the team will have to continue without one of its key players. During the Americans’ 14-0 victory over the Dominican Republic last week, defender Ali Krieger tore her anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments. The injuries will sideline Krieger for six to eight months; hopefully Ali’s sponsorship with Nike won’t be affected and this doesn’t cause any missed endorsement opportunities.

Ali Krieger, who has 27 caps with the national team, was tackled in the leg by Dominican midfielder Leonela Mojica while attempting a shot in the 40th minute of last week’s match. Upon falling to the ground, teammates on the U.S. team quickly called for the trainers to come examine Krieger.

Of her injury, Krieger said, “I feel so unfortunate and I wouldn’t wish this on anyone, especially to have it happen in a match where we were in control.”

However she remained optimistic about her team’s chances and her own future, saying, “It’s unfortunate that the timing is really bad, but this team is about way more than one player and I know with all the support from my teammates, my family and friends and from U.S. Soccer, I will come back stronger than ever.”

As the U.S. Women’s Soccer team prepares for the Olympics without Krieger, the team is looking to build off its success at last summer’s World Cup. In Germany at the 2011 World Cup, the U.S. team survived a dramatic quarterfinal match against Brazil and rode momentum from that match all the way to a runner-up finish. In addition to a strong result, the team captured the hearts of American sports fans and players like Ali Krieger, Hope Solo, Alex Morgan, Christiane Rampone and Abby Wambach became instant celebrities.

Looking forward to London, the U.S. Women’s Soccer team will be one of the favorites for the gold medal, alongside Brazil and World Cup winners Japan. The team also offers up a unique opportunity for companies looking to activate a Summer Olympics Sponsorship.

Because of the popularity of the U.S. women’s national team following the 2011 World Cup, a Summer Olympics Sponsorship of Women’s Soccer could increase awareness and consumer perception for a brand. Should the U.S. team capture gold, a Summer Olympic Games Sponsorship could pay extra dividends for a company looking to maximize its marketing dollars.
