Ali Krieger, who has 27 caps with the national team, was tackled in the leg by Dominican midfielder Leonela Mojica while attempting a shot in the 40^th minute of last week’s match. Upon falling to the ground, teammates on the U.S. team quickly called for the trainers to come examine Krieger.
